The gameplay of Craps revolves around a series of dice rolls and two key phases - the 'come out' and the 'point' phases. The come-out roll is the very first roll of the game, during which a puck displaying 'OFF' on its black side is used to mark the current stage of the round.

The "pass line bet" is an exciting option in craps. These bets win immediately when the come-out roll results in a 7 or 11. However, they are lost if the come-out roll shows a 2, 3, or 12. 

If the come-out roll produces a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the "point." This initiates the point phase of the game. The puck is flipped to its white "ON" side and placed on the table over the box displaying the rolled number. Players then continue rolling the dice until either the point or a 7 is rolled, ending the round. If the point is rolled first, the pass-line bet wins. If a 7 is rolled first, the pass-line bet loses. Pass line bets remain in play until the point or a 7 is rolled, even though the chip value is returned to the player's balance after each roll and then wagered again for the next roll.
