Played on a 7x7 game grid, Gravity Bonanza employs a cluster payouts method to create winning combinations. When at least five matching symbols land and are arranged in either a horizontal or vertical row, wins are given out. The pay symbols in Gravity Bonanza are all composed of planets and have a cosmic appearance. or a similar idea. A cluster of five matching symbols will yield 0.2 to 1 times the wager, and a cluster of 31 or more would yield 1,000 to 10,000 times the bet. There are a total of 7 of these. 

While there isn't a wild symbol in Gravity Bonanza, there are scatter and black hole symbols. All winning symbols are eliminated from the reels when they land thanks to the tumble feature. The remaining symbols on the reel were stripped down to cover the spaces, sometimes resulting in a fresh win. When there isn't a fresh triumph, tumbles end.

One spin and all tumbles that follow may only have one Black Hole symbol land. The Gravity Bonus indicator gathers all occurrences of the randomly selected symbol in the view and on subsequent tumbles when a Black Hole Symbol lands. The entire number of symbols collected after tumbles is paid out by the pay table.

In the base game, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 50 free spins are awarded for hitting 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 scatter symbols, respectively. Extra free spins are given out in the same manner throughout the bonus spins round. When the Black Hole symbol strikes during the round, it may do so with a multiplier of x2, x3, x5, or x10. This multiplier is then used for the Gravity Bonus payout if it is granted.
