Hero Clash differs visually from anything Hurricane Games has created in the past. The studio is still in the experimental stages of its development. The goal of each of the four character-specific stages is to accumulate Hero Point scatters to advance to the bonus round. In this manner, you progress through all four of the hero levels, beginning in stage 1 with Charger, a female archer who resembles Zelda. Slade, a slender, fair-haired knight with forearms that rival Popeye's, is the next to appear. In level 3, you'll meet a large boy with lava-handled hands named Hot Shots. In stage 4, Sonic Boom looks like a fairy.
It's generally best to make up your mind right away whether or not to play with Super Stakes mode enabled. You will pay twice as much as usual for this, but the feature increases your chances of winning the bonus round by double. Every Hero Power metre has to be filled with 150 Hero Power points, and each of the four characters has their own set of four stages.
A minimum of two Hero Power scatters must land to earn one Hero Point in the metre; three, four, or five Hero Power scatters grant fifty, seventy, or one hundred Hero Power points, respectively. Every non-winning spin in which you do not land two or more Hero Power scatters awards you with one additional Hero Power point.
Either by landing three or more bonus scatters anywhere in view or by filling the metre with 150 Hero Power points, you can start the Bonus Round. Either way, you earn 12 free spins. If there are 2, 3, 4, or 5 bonus scatters, you will receive a payout of 1, 2, 20, or 200 times your bet.
In all variations of the bonus round, there is a 2x multiplier that increases every win correspondingly. Every hero and character has a special superpower modification that activates throughout the feature. The Hero metre starts at zero when the bonus round ends and you advance to the next Hero stage.
