Hugo Carts has five reels, four rows, and 1,024 possibilities to win on each spin of the slot machine. Special modifiers can be used to enhance the number of win ways. Land three, four, or five matching symbols or wilds on neighbouring reels, starting from the leftmost reel, in a row to form a winning combination.

• Hugo Re-Spin feature: a re-spin with two to five wild gold nugget symbols added to randomly selected locations on the reels occurs when Hugo appears on reel 3.
• Scylla Re-Spin feature: When Scylla lands on reel 4, the game re-spins and adds between five and nine mystery symbols.
